I am dedicating this page to my favorite activity - camping!
I've been camping and backpacking since my freshman year of college and haven't looked back. I underwent a total transformation on my first "hardcore" backpacking trip to Big Bend in west Texas. It was an exciting but scary adventure, and I would recommend the area to anyone wanting to totally immerse themselves in nature. We chose to complete the West Rancheritos trail, a route reserved for experienced backpackers.
